Food Service Helper RPT - Lindbergh Elementary

Hours: 10:30 am-1:30 pm (3.0 per day, 15 hours per week) - 10 month duty schedule

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  Elementary knowledge of the proper method of serving food and the care of tableware, glassware, silver and kitchen appliances; practical working knowledge of modern cleaning methods and the use of cleaning supplies and appliances; ability to follow simple oral and written directions; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.  (Must be able to lift 40 lb. cases).

Minimum Qualifications:  Some experience in domestic work including food service and ability to read and write English, or any equivalent combination of the foregoing training and experience.

Duties of Assignment:  Preparing, cooking and serving food, cashiering, washing and sanitizing food service utensils with other food service activities required for the operation of the food program.  Food Service Helpers are to work cooperatively with the Cook Managers and others on ANY jobs assigned.  Must be available to work hours as stated above.

$16.25 per hour
Teacher Aide RPT - Lindbergh Elementary

Hours: 8:45 – 3:45-**SUBJECT TO CHANGE** (6.5 hours per day, 32.5 hours per week) - 10 month duty schedule

Minimum Qualifications:  Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, and; additional experience and knowledge in a particular field where specialized duties are involved; or have served in a community service organization, child-centered service or educational organization for a minimum of one (1) year; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Duties of Assignment:  Classroom aide. Ensure student safety throughout the building; help students transition throughout the building.  Provide student support in all academic areas, which may include: behavior modification programs through encouragement and emotional development; provide direct supervision for student while attending academic classes and extra-curricular activities; provide guidance, support and proximity control throughout the realm of any given school day; duties may include lifting, feeding, and personal care duties that may include toileting and personal hygiene as noted on the student’s IEP. Assist with student instruction, focused on RTI. Building principal may assign additional duties as needed.  

$16.00-$24.93 per hour

Special Qualifications:  Must be patient and empathetic, have a calm demeanor and ability to develop a strong rapport with parents and related services staff.  Experience with special needs students is desirable.

$16.00 - $24.93 per hour
