Job Description

1.0 Science Teacher- Earth Science and/or Living Environment certification preferred

Days: 25 Days: Monday through Thursday, and select Fridays 

High School: Monday, July 14 - Thursday, August 21, 2025 and Friday, July 18

High School: Block 1: 8:00-10:03 am and/or  Block 2: 10:13 am-12:16 pm

Salary: Per KTA Contract, 9.4.1, and Appendix B-3/$46/HR

 

Duties: Teaching designated coursework, based on assignments and 

curriculum; progress reporting. 

 

Important Notes:

1. NYS Regents exam will be administered during the Summer 2025 program at the High School. 

2. Qualified applicants must hold NYS certification in the subject they wish to teach. 

3. Preference is given to KenTon teachers who have previously taught Secondary Summer School, according to contract language, 8.2.1.
