| Administering psychological tests and interpreting assessment results for the purpose of classification and providing services Providing individual and group counseling and other mental health services as appropriate Participation in Committee on Special Education Meetings Assisting in the implementation of an MTSS model of supports Assisting in planning programs that meet the special needs of the students Working with children and young adults who have a variety of disabilities Attending departmental meetings and continuing professional development programs Providing consultation to teachers, parents and school staff Helping to develop Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans Assisting students, families and schools dealing with crisis The psychologist intern will also perform any assigned duties deemed necessary and appropriate. |
