Teacher Aides, School Monitors, Clerk Typists
Hours vary anywhere from 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
TEACHER AIDE SUBSTITUTE: Duties may include: student support in all academic areas that may include behavior modification programs throughout encouragement and emotional development; provide direct supervision for student while attending academic classes and extra-curricular activities; provide guidance, support and proximity control throughout the realm of any given school day; duties may include lifting, feeding, and personal care duties that may include toileting and personal hygiene as noted on the student’s IEP.
SCHOOL MONITOR SUBSTITUTE: Duties may include: managing order and cleanliness in cafeteria, hallway and in a classroom setting; ability to gain and hold the confidence of and to maintain a patient and understanding attitude toward school children; ability to maintain order and to enforce school regulations with firmness; ability to lift and carry cafeteria supplies and materials.
CLERK TYPIST SUBSTITUTE: General office duties – must have ability to assist in an office setting in a professional, welcoming and efficient manner when interacting with students, parents, and staff; ability to multitask, maintain confidential information, and be part of an office team; must also have a willingness to perform any and all duties assigned by Administrators.
