Provide instruction (small group, whole group, individualized) to students age 17 and up seeking to earn their High School Equivalency Diploma by means of passing the GED exam. Math proficiencies preferred but not required, for more information about the math sub-test of the GED exam and the other three subject areas please visit ged.com. Students enter the program at varying levels of proficiencies. Teacher certification required or willingness to obtain NYSED Adult Education certification. 14 hours of professional development required annually.
